Four Women from Bialystok: Four Stories of Survival

  • Holocaust Memorial Museum of San Antonio 12500 Northwest Military Highway San Antonio, TX, 78231 United States (map)

For the 2021 Texas Holocaust Remembrance Week, the HMMSA is leading a community-wide effort to offer twenty special topic presentations. The focus of the lectures will be on instilling in the students, educators, and general audience Elie Wiesel’s message that “the opposite of love is not hate, it’s indifference.”

Join HMMSA Docent, Liz Reichman as she presents a brief overview of women’s experiences in the Holocaust as well as recounting the survival of her mother-in-law in this live virtual presentation through Zoom Webinar. The webinar format will allow for schools and students to interact with our presenters using the Q&A chat function but will not show the attendee’s video stream. All questions and comments will be screened by the museum staff during the presentations to prevent Zoom bombing. All presentations will be recorded and can also be viewed on our website.
