On Sunday, November 15th, the Holocaust Memorial Museum of San Antonio will be partnering with Texas Advocates and the San Antonio League of Self-Advocates (SALSA) to host the annual program Patches: Others Deemed Dangerous or Inferior event from 1-3 pm. This year the event will be featuring the experience of those with intellectual and physical disabilities and discussing the Nazi "T4" euthanasia program.
Before the event, the audience is encouraged to watch the film Selling Murder: The Killing Films of the Third Reich, available on YouTube, HERE. Following Dr. Barnes' lecture, the museum will host a brief discussion and take questions about the film. The final portion of the event will feature guest speakers from Texas Advocates and the San Antonio League of Self-Advocates (SALSA) discussing current issues facing people with disabilities in Texas.
