Heroes, Traitors, and Collaborators: The Netherlands Under Nazi Occupation

For the 2022 Texas Holocaust Remembrance Week, the HMMSA is leading a community-wide effort to offer twenty special topic presentations. The focus of the lectures will be on instilling in the students, educators, and general audience Elie Wiesel’s message that “the opposite of love is not hate, it’s indifference.”

Join Winslow Swart, Child of Survivors for a presentation entitled: Heroes, Traitors, and Collaborators: The Netherlands Under Nazi Occupation.

"This address will examine Jewish life in the pre-war Netherlands and the hardships and changes brought about by Nazi occupation, highlighting several personal accounts of Dutch Holocaust survivors."
