WWII Occupation of France: Resistance

For the 2022 Texas Holocaust Remembrance Week, the HMMSA is leading a community-wide effort to offer twenty special topic presentations. The focus of the lectures will be on instilling in the students, educators, and general audience Elie Wiesel’s message that “the opposite of love is not hate, it’s indifference.”

Join Dr. Eileen Angelini from SUNY Empire State College for a presentation entitled: WWII Occupation of France: Resistance.

"This lecture will employ excerpts from the documentary France Divided to consider the French Resistance to Nazi occupation and the roles of the Catholic Church and Protestant Church."
