Burning Questions: A Discussion of Intellectual Freedom and Censorship

For the 2022 Texas Holocaust Remembrance Week, the HMMSA is leading a community-wide effort to offer twenty special topic presentations. The focus of the lectures will be on instilling in the students, educators, and general audience Elie Wiesel’s message that “the opposite of love is not hate, it’s indifference.”

Join Dacari Lambert from the San Antonio Public Library for a presentation entitled: Burning Questions: A Discussion of Intellectual Freedom and Censorship.

"This address will talk about the history of censorship, banned books, and book burnings. How does what you read affect what you think, believe, and understand about the world around you?"
